TFG's 10 Verses

All TFG members should know these verses by heart....including the reference.

We give them here in the New International Version but you can learn them in any version you choose...even Greek if you must!! To help, Dan, Matt and Will Weeks have been writing hundreds of Bible Verses as songs to aid memorisation. John 3:16,17

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

John 14:6

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me.

Acts 4:12

Salvation is found in no-one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.

Ephesians 2:8,9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no-one can boast

Isaiah 53: 6

We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Romans 3:23

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Revelation 20:15

If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

John 17:3

Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

1 John 1: 8 - 10

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.
